when do I upol raptor line???

When is the best time to upol raptor line? i am planning on doing the underside as well as the inside floor. the car just came back to me after having the shell rebuilt it still needs filler and final body work and paint but it is currently all in an epoxy primer. Is this the time to raptor line or should I fit suspension, fuel tank,front clip first then remove and line it?

I would fit all of you components first then raptor line.. my floorpan was coated all the way back before i fitted my ridetech 4 bar.
i did have to gently massage area's (with a bfh) to make everything fit correctly. the raptor lining did stay bonded but i would have rather done this in bare metal..

I'm in the same position you are, I currently fitted all the major components ie: Rear suspension, rear end, front clip, wheels tires. My plan is too remove all those things and spray raptor liner ( It just came in the mail ) and fit all my fuel and brake lines after since it's all aftermarket.

I will be spraying the Raptor liner on the bottom of my car and inside the trunk within a few days. My car has had all the needed metal replaced, mocked up all the systems and epoxy primed the whole car. I also have all the rough body work done on the shell. I still need to fine tune the body work, but will do that after I get the bottom finished.

With all that said, get everything fitted properly to the car and the rough body work completed before you do any finish work on your car

I applied RL after final guide coat and before sealer.

If you can, try to flip the car and get the top of the inner-roof and under the rear package tray.

Yup, 1 kit did it all (barely!) The Falcon is still a relatively small car to cover. I think a pony car, Nova or Dart would be equal in coverage but something larger like a Challenger\ Cuda, Chevelle might take two kits.

1 kit did 2 full coats for me in tintable blue .... and yes the car is getting painted blue

From what I have seen it sprays with very little overspray. Im planning on jacking the car up on stands as far as I can get it and just roll around on the creeper doing sections.

Wear a paper suit and a respirator with the proper filters, glasses or goggles ( if under the car). Good exhaust fan going. The stuff sprays nice. But you will have some splatter and fumes.
I sprayed the inside of a jeep tub and used the tintable. Turned out nice. I like the U-pol over Lizard skin.

Why Raptor over Lizard? Any specifics? I Raptor lined my truck and liked it, but planned on Lizard Skin for the Camaro to help with noise/heat control.

Lizard skin says to thin with water to use their siphon gun. But, they dont tell you ratios. It's also a PIA to pore it from the pails into the gun they sell you.

Raptor was just much more user friendly. Add the tint and shake, attach the gun and spray.

I would say it is more for protection. I plan on going this route and using Dynamat on the inside for the heat and noise barrier.
