      Bogus/Counterfeit MSD 6AL units...

      Saw this on another site... MSD has had some units returned under warrenty that were bogus... Thought I would post it up...

      There is a write up on the knock offs in Hot Rod or PHR this month. Worth looking over for sure.

      This is not a new issue. I started driving Dust Off in April of 2012 and shortly after that my 6AL died. It had been purchased from Summit about 60 days prior. I called MSD tech support and the very first question they asked was where did you buy it. They went on to explain that they were seeing a number of counterfit boxes selling on ebay. Bottom line is items purchased from ebay can bite you in the ass. Buy from an authorized dealer!
