Labor Day Cruise Orange County CA

Anyone going to the Labor Day Cruise at the Orange County Fair grounds this weekend? Should be around 2500 pre 73 cars there. Here is some info. http://www.socalcarculture.com/Images/labordaycruise.pdf

Thanks for the head's up. Don't know if I can make that one with the Chevelle since it's up in the High Desert with my folks. Is it strictly pre-'73? I have a nice 84 El Camino SS and my Mustang, but they're not show cars (...yet.)

Sorry pre 73 only. My 73 can pass as a 72. Kris did you get my email on the powder coating?

      Chuck,

I did get the info, thanks!

      Steve,

I'll see if I can convince my dad to bring the Chevelle down, but it's not in any shape to hit a car show I don't think. We beat on it pretty hard the weekend of the Buttonwillow event, despite not getting it on the track...so it's still dirty and needs a hardcore detailing. I might go to the show just for kicks though. Haven't been to a full-blown car show in a long time.

I will be there. I am not taking the Vette though. I am going with some street rod buddies so I will be taking the new all steel 33 with the blown sbc I picked up this weekend.

I took the Camaro last year....it was a good show, you could hardly see all the cars, there were that many. Won't be able to make it this year though. Any of you SoCal guys going to the show at Saugus Speedway on Sept. 10?? That's close to you Kris.

Saugus Speedway...not sure where that is. I'll have to look it up. I still don't know this area too well.

Steve- The 33 is RED of course!! Is there another color? All steel, chopped 3.5 inches, filled, smoothed, hidden hinges, BDS blown 355 all hidden under the hood. I will post a pic soon. Hope to see you there.

I visited the show with Chuck. He was there with his 73 Camaro, me as a spectator. My 82 Mustang isn't old enough to enter the show. Had a good time anyway, saw lots of nice cars, many in the PT style.
