      1955 210 project

A couple months ago A friend of mine sent me a picture of a car he bought. I have always loved 55's so I had to have it. I bought a 69 camaro 5 years ago to restore but I decided to start on this instead. This is due to my grandpa having 55 that he bought new in 1955. If I did the camaro first he may not be around to see the completion of the 55. Going to do complete frame off resto. I am going to try and post pictures as it goes.

I am looking at the roadster shop chassis. (If anyone has used this I would like to here from you)
      LSX engine with 4L80e transmission

      Day I brought it home....

Finished a 3 Day tear down today and took it to body shop for blasting and new metal!! It is going to need a ton of work!!!! Should have all new metal on by the end of the year.

Looks like a big project but it looks like you have a good helper. How long do you think it will take you to finish?

I think most of that would buff out.

I've always liked the look of these body styles. No matter what way you restore the car: restored, restomod, pro touring, pro street. They always turn out amazing!

I would love to have a 55! I saw a project recently that looks a lot like that one (was even yellow with the fenders strapped on) for $1500 - would jump on it if I had a garage... I want to do a flat black 2 lane blacktop look with LS/4L80E... I'll be watching!
