Is this right for Rick's Tank

I ordered a Rick's Tank earlier this week but received the sending unit today. I ordered it for a mini tubed 68 Camaro with cut corners and for a carb. The sending unit is like the factory unit with a 5/16 line. All the pictures I see these have a nice stainless fuel exit from the top of the tank which is part of a removable piece beside a different style sender. This is for a 600hp engine so am I expecting something I will not be receiving?

Wow! No one has any comment or suggestion. I realize this isn't an LS discussion but I was hoping someone could help out

Sorry Erik, I never order a ricks tank. So I cant give any advice on that. But 5/16" seams a little small for a 600hp car with a carb.

I have 3/8" line for my falcon and a 1/2" line for the drag mustang.

Maybe give Ricks a call Monday morning and ask for specifics.

I can't help with the line question due to having FI and a vaporworx setup. What I have noticed from ricks is that they send the parts to complete the tank in several packages, sometimes weeks apart. I got a harness, pump, and sender all separately from the tank over the course of a month. I thought this was definitely odd. More parts should be on the way and that may answer your question. Good luck. You'll be happy with the final product.

My vaporworx tank came complete and I had to run the fuel line right to the pump. I woul like to have a smale stainless steel hardline to attach the line to as there is very little room to get a wrench in there once the tank is installed.
