You can use the stock one. Are you doing a manual or auto?
Which other parts are you referring to? We could go on and tell you that a high pressure fuel pump is needed, different oil pan, mounts, headers, etc...

Your options are only limited by your budget. There is nothing wrong with the truck intake as long as it fits under your hood. Im not sure if it will in a Camaro? If you can't use the truck, get an LS3 intake, they are fairly easy to find on eBay and LS1tech.

VVT is also just a matter of preference. If you're thinking in terms of cam, plenty of companies make VVT cams now so you should be good there. I would give Texas Speed a call. The have the VVT conversion kits too if you decide to go that route.

Harness is also a matter of how much you want to spend. I would say google and read reviews the different vendors that offer rewire service. You can pay a little or a lot to have one modified. Sometimes its easier to sell yours and buy one. I think they go for @150-200 complete used. You could sell and buy one already done with fuse panel for $550. Most places are going to charge at least $300 to modify yours.
      Big dreams, small pockets....

Agreed. I sold my old harness for around $150 on eBay and bought a brand new one for around $500 from PSI conversions.

Exactly what I was thinking. I ended up having mine modified by Todd at S&S Performance since I was missing a plug.
