I have an '04 pickup with the 4.8. Damn motor surprised the hell out of me. That little sucker is just begging to rev, and it's not even broke in yet. Can't wait 'till spring to order one with a 5.3. I'm begining to understand why so many people are going nuts over the Gen. III engines.

I've got a 77 nova concours. I got Hotchkis front coils, cut 1 coil and the drop leafs for the rear. I just bought the parts to fit 70-81 camaro. All poly bushings. I changed out my lower spring perches and plates with Afco peices and built some caltrac copies out of some spare landrum parts that I had laying around. I don't know how well it would work with full interior because mine is gutted and caged right now. I want to do a mini tub with slide boxes at rear of leafs.

you wont notice much difference in a 4.8 to a 5.3 pretty much the same motor with a slight torque gain i cant even tell a difference when driving them

      6.0 is a different story
