Axel Shims
So I have to shim the pinion up 2 degrees. I picked up some 2 degree shims but am curious how to install them. In my Camaro the axle is mounted above the springs and the locating pin comes out the bottom of the spring pack.
If I put the shim on top of the spring, whats going to hold it in?

So I was just looking thru a catalog and noticed on the replacement leaf springs the pin protrudes out the top and bottom of the leaf spring. Mine only comes out the bottom...WTF?
