      Looking for Diff recomendations

I am about to pull the trigger on a Carrier... a really like the idea of an aluminum on for weight savings.... but read some Neg feedback on Aluminum

(if that BS please send me a alink to a Alum cariier that would work well for a street driven LS3 480)

      Otherwise feedback on this appreciated..

Currie makes a nice aluminum carrier for the Ford 8-inch (like the 9, but slightly smaller and lighter), which is what my low-power car has. They recommend against using it in anything over 300 horsepower...

I bought a Moser housing & axles for mine. I'll be buying a third member with 3.70 gears soon. There are also aluminum cases with through bolts.. I'm curious about others thoughts and experiences too.

I am in the same boat as you guys are. I talked to strange today and he recommended the trutrac unit (a $171 upgrade to the track lock unit above). They even have a 10% military discount. It came out to approx $1360 plus shipping (no discount). He said it would be about $320 plus shipping for a driveshaft. I plan on calling Moser tomorrow.
