subjective differences only as far as i can see. Tire selection may be an issue if you want a matched set. Too wide in the rear will make for handling issues up front.

Welcome to the board SoCal! Lots of 69s in SoCal as well.

First of all, call TCI. They may have some advice on whether you can fit a 12" out of the box or if mods are required. Also, as Tom mentioned above too wide in the rear can cause tuning issues - but they can also be overcome. Be sure to measure for fitment before buying. What is your intended use? What do you have for front suspension? What size wheels do you plan on putting on the front?

Post up some specs and may I suggest you put your name your signature?

Typically folks are putting a 12.0X18/19 on the rear of a 1969 Camaro with either a 325 or 335. Another option is a 11.0X18 with either a 295, 315 tire. FYI...the BFG Rivals and Michelin Pilot Super Sports run much wider than other tire brands. Consider the pricing of the tires and also how much power you'll be putting to the ground. Maybe you don't need a 335 rear tire and a 295 will work just fine and save a few $ .

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum!

I put 335 on mine with the mini tubs and tci rear. Considered the 295, 315 option. My opinion is, there isn't much sidewall, especially on the 295s. Saw some photos of one with 295s launching hard and the lip of the wheel was almost touching the ground. Depends what you like.
