Vintage Air wiring
Im wiring up my Vintage Air Gen IV and am wondering if anyone wired the white wires to a chassis ground or does it HAVE to go to the battery ground. I have a remote mount battery and chassis ground would make it soo much easier.

07-21-2013 #2Chris, I have installed 3 VA systems so far and they are pretty specific about using the battery post as a ground for the white wires. The electronics on the GenIV systems are sensitive and need battery ground for some reason. I had problems with the blower speed controller when it was grounded to chassis. Use battery.
