1st gen fbody body mount question.

The body mount on the passenger side under the firewall on my bird is in rough shape. I'm using solid body mounts so its barely grabbing material. when driving around I'm hearing clunking going over bumps and such. seems more prominent with people in the passenger seat. the suspension has been unbolted and tightened up a few times and it still does it. so this is the only thing I can think of that would be causing this clunking issue. I bought those round replacement body mount washers that need to be welded in. so my question is, is it possible to repair that body mount without pulling the subframe out? I would have to go have a body shop or something do it since I can't weld at all, but before I head down to have someone check it out just wanted to see if it was possible. thanks in advance.
