      Millermatic 135

Anybody have any experience with this particular model? Specifically which settings for what materials or do the suggestions from Miller hold true?

Use one almost daily. There settings are real close. With a slight bevel I can do 3/ 16 in a single pass. Larger material can be multi passed with good results.

If you get one, I'll be jealous. My Eastwood Mig 135 is getting a bit annoying after two years...

I bought a used one yesterday. No idea how to use it, but I will put the time in. I was tempted by the eastwood since I don't have much to weld. I figured once I learned that other projects would present themselves.

Thanks. I ordered a book and plan on going by a local weld shop to ask for scraps.

      .

Now all you need is a good helmet to protect your eyes ... like this welder has.

Perfect example of why you should wear proper welding gear. See what the sparks have done to her clothes.

      I agree!

It's OK that this happened to this welder's jeans shorts ... but you wouldn't want those same sparks getting to your eyes.
