hid lights led lights
Who's using hid lights in ther 67-72 Chevy trucks or led dis regard the red Chevy truck.

I have a complete set for my '71 GMC - I just have not had time to install them. If you upgrade to HID, there are ballasts, etc that have to be installed. To be honest I did not realize the commitment when I purchased them - however, I'm very excited to be able to see at night. Will report back!

HIDs are not supposed to be used in a standard halogen reflector housing. Yes, the light output is more but it is all scattered and you can bet I will be flashing my aircraft high beams at you because they are blinding for other drivers.
Check these out... I just got a set in my other car and they are really impressive. This is the correct way to run HID's on older cars with the 7" round bulbs
