RAYBESTOS vs MOOG

so i know most people go with moog right off the bat...which is what i was planning on doing.... but when i was over on rock auto i noticed that they had raybestos tie rods for cheap.....and seemed to be a favorite on there site....so i was curious has anyone used these? they do have a zerk fitting to

if anyone has tried have they held up?

I prefer Raybestos over Moog. I like the permanently attached ball joint boots. The only pain for me is I usually have to order them instead of just running down to the local parts store.

NAPA premium all the way! Moog has went down hill pretty bad over the years. I have never dealt with Raybestos, but you get what you pay for and when it comes to steering there is no such thing as "the cheap way out".

From my understanding, in the last 5-7 years they have all become Chineese **** and should be treated as such. It's like trying to decide which resturant you're going to get your Kung Pao Chicken take out at.....they might spice it differently but they all use the same food supply house.

Also I don't mean "best price" as in "less expensive"

I mean best price for quality. Moog generally has grease fittings and better machine work or forged over carst components

Better check the boxes. After researching this a lot over the last few months, a lot of Moog stuff is offshore crap too now.

Look into Proforged parts. I posted some pics in another thread. They are not made in the USA, but quality looks good.
