I must be the oddball here. I love wet track days. They really challenge you. But I passed a guy once at Pocono in the wet in my S-10. He was in a Cobra replica. He came up to me in the pits after to ask me if I was crazy.

Pardon my negative attitude on the rain... it just isn't fun no matter how you do it.. you get wet (open windows typically are required at most tracks), the interior gets wet, that makes me cold and grumpy! :(
I disagree about being able to save it, but not about the wet grass and the rain sucking to stand around in.

Some, somewhat good news!...NOAA is now saying Saturday: 51* with no rain...hopefully this weather moves in before the event or misses us...

For those of you who are trailering your car to the event...are you planning to also trailer it tothe track or just drive it to the track from the hotel?

Im not sure if I want to put it back on the trailer after the friday night cruise...but I kinda want the truck in case it rains.....what to do what to do.

I was thinking the same way with the trailers, I wonder if we can unload at the track Friday and leave them there overnight? Glad to see the forecast in improving. I'll take my anti-grumpy possitive vibe pills. -Dan

5-10" of snow for Connecticut for Friday... that should make for a fun trip down. I think I'm lowered too much for tire chains... -Dan

You may have some snow, but don't worry... Your probably 3 hours north of the track.... the system is strong near north- northwest Jersey, but down there is a different story... lets hope so, A guy at work studies weather and is confident Millville, NJ will see "percipitation moving out of the area by 1-2pm on Friday and Saturday will be clear... but alittle breezy"... He has never failed me.... lets hope he's right!

      C'mon guys... Glass half full.
