      Frank,
I'm interested in a set of WC3 wheels in the same size as were used on Motiv8r. The above Motiv8r caption lists the wheels as 18x10 and 18x12. On Motiv8r.net Larry lists the wheels as 18x8 and 18x12. Obviously there is a discrepency. I'm wondering if you or Larry can verify which is correct.

MotiV8r absolutely has 18 X 10 and 18 X 12, I ordered them. But that car has a AME subframe. What subframe do you have?

WC3R doesn't show as 19" on their site. Sorry about the confusion on the ZX3R.

Yeah, I spoke w Scott Main about that a few months back. He gave no indication of the Wc3's in 19s any time soon. Another dead end for me was the De3s only come in 19 and 20s. I guess its more targeted to the vette market?

Maybe we can get Uncle Frank to put in a good word for his flock....!

The problem is some wheel designs simply do not match 18 to 19, 19 to 20, etc when you make them larger or smaller. So for example if you make the WC3R in a 19, first thing someone will want to do is a 18 / 19 combo (my favorite these days) and they simply will not match if that pattern is expanded. Spoked wheels, no problem. Mesh wheels, some not so good. Also forging can be a issue. If a wheel forging is totally unique to one wheel, it better be a damn good seller. Exactly why we could not make the TA3P in a 18. Would have required a different forging and the pattern looked way different in a 18.

So what will a set of 19's in the ZX3R run me? Black with polished lip. I'm guessing 19x9 and 19x10. I am running Wilwood 6 piston fronts and 4 piston rears.

Frank - Appreciate the explanation and I totally agree w the Wc3's. Probably the perfect wheel IMHO in 18", but the DE3S is made in 19 - 21 in a step lip (no 18) and the DE3P is made in an 18 - 21. I have you to thank for the 18/19 combo design queue, I just can't shake the desire for a step lip. We'll get it narrowed in down one of these days...
