Good Guys is OK but really it is always hard to meet up with everything going on. If I can suggest a sat. or sun. meet at a burger joint I think that makes it easy for just about anyone that has that day available. I have kids ranging from 18mo>10yo and I would possible bring them along. Depending on what might be a good area for everyone to meet in the middle? I know just about every town has a nice mom and pop burger place with a good size parking lot.

Yeah the Goodguys show can get busy. I just thought it would be easy without attempting to set up a spot such as a burger joint because some of us will be there. A quick meet & greet to get acquainted and then move along from there. I'm open for ideas. Sun Valley mall has a get together every friday starting in April I believe with a decent show of cars. Martinez has an event every wednseday with live music. Basically some parking lot events but its something. I'm up for anything.

Thanks, Nick. It's been a long project... just a little over 4 years now, but it's almost all back together after paint & body work. If I were to do it all over again, I'd probably change a few things, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
At least for now.

I have to agree with Nick and Joe... let's start with a meet and greet at a local cruise-in. Since we're all spread out, it might be best to find something that is on a weekend so more people could attend. If it's a week night, lot's of people won't be able to make a longer drive.

Let's start throwing out location ideas. Then, we can nail down a date in late March or April.

Did any of you guys meet at the Goodguys show last weekend? I missed it, just too busy with house chores and a couple of car projects.

If anyone is interested in meeting next week, Thursday, April 8th, I'll be at the first Ellio's cruise-in of the year in San Leandro. If the weather is nice, it might be a big turn out. It goes from around 5p til dark.

I'm driving with the Nor Cal Shelby Club. It's a driving school and open track weekend. This year's driving school will be focusing on Autocross, and I'm signed up for the class this year.

As for trying a NASA event, I might be up for a driving school or open track event, but I don't think I'd enter any real racing events with my current car. Also, considering all the mods I've done to my car, I'm not sure if all the changes will pass NASA's specifications. Is there place where I could learn more about the specifics regarding car modifications (i didn't see anything when I scanned the NASA website)?
