Got my new wheels and tires on finally.

Rolled it out in the sun for the first time since last summer. All the mods to get these things to fit are finally done. RacingHart M5, 18x9 in front, and 18x10 in the back. One of two in the world with wheels this big on a Corvair.

Four wheel disk brakes. a full set of new weatherstrips. A little rust repair, and then finally. REAL PAINT.

Very nice, I have always liked those wheels, they really cleaned up nicely. They give the car a whole new attitude.

That is cool right there---love the stripe across the fender--that is so money----the wheels/tires/stance are right on---great execution on a unique and very cool car.

Note: the rear bumper is off, and the lower engine shroud is missing in the rear angle shot up there. It'll look cooler with all that jazz on there. Im replacing that quarter panel rust and had to pull the bumper and junk.

      Been busy.

      Hey Tony,

      Those wheels look sweet!!

I would have never thought 9" and 10" wide rims would have fit under the Corvair's stock sheetmetal!

      VERY NICE!!!

I would love to tell you. Its a "Holey Ball" from www.billetballs.com that my wife got me for my birthday. (How cool is SHE?) It costs 80 bucks, and they are great people to buy from. Good service great quality and fast shipping. I highly recommend them, obviously.

Now, they have an anodized one too.

Oh. A note. Ever seen Raiders of the Lost Ark?

      That anodized one?

I keep a rag over mine in the summer. God help you if you have a black one.
