      Project "Trouble" 69 Camaro

I picked this name for my Camaro because all of the trouble I have ever got into was in this Camaro. I actually started 2 years ago on this project. This was my first car when I was 16 and still own it (38 now). I bought a house last year so it got put on hold. Well I am settled in my garage, and put the wife and son a pool in this past summer. Now it is my turn work my project! I have a plain jane 69 Camaro
      below

I have disassembled the car to what you see now.

My plans are Mini-tubbing the rear, I have started the DSE subframe connectors, and smoothing the firewall. I think I will go with 5 speed and 383 stoker small block. I am still undecided on wheels, but the car will be blue with black stripe or stripes. Maybe I will make some progress now

Great start. ( you started by giving your family something first). Everything else will work out just fine. I look foward to seeing your project progress. I haven't looked, but do you have any posts on that "other" cool car in the background!

I know it has been along time since I updated my project thread. I have cut my stock tubs out and I am installing dse mini-tubs. I also ordered my back wheels and tires. I am undecided on the stock subframe or and aftermarket frame, so that will dictate the width of the front wheels. I am going with a Rushforth 18X12 Rated X with a BFG KDW 335X30X18. I will post pics when I get them mocked up.

Good to see you Darrin. It sure is more fun when you take a car to the RTTH. I hope the 69 will be there in 2010. It may not be finished, but I am dying to get it back running!!
