stock sizes you can run a 17x8 or a 18x8 with 4 inch bs and be fine with a 255/50/17 tire,im running a 17x9.5 with 4 1/8 bs with a mild flare onth rears and 17x8 with 4i nch inthe fronts ,rear tires are nitto nt450's 275/50/17 and fronts are 255/50/17.If i remove my rear sway bar i can run a 17x11 with 5 inch bs. which this winter i might do.
unless your looking to stay with stock sizes then a 15x8 with 4 inch bs is stock.

lvrpool32 has a nasty 69 Vette and has bought more wheels than he will admit too in front of his wife. Maybe he will chime in.

Thanks guys, the car is actually a surprise for my pops 60th birthday (kind of a dream of his to own a corvette). There are several mechanical issues I need to fix on the car (like brakes....) before we surprise him with it. Unfortunately it pretty much tapped my funds to buy him the car, but it seriously needs some rims so I may have to stick with some 15" ralleys for the time being...... unless you guys have a good source for some cheap 17s..... thanks

raih what size rims are on the rear and anything different to the suspension?Did you remove or relocate your ebrake cable?
I have 8.5 x 10 front and 10 x 20 back.
Yes, i must recolate the exaust pipes and the emergency brake.
The suspension are original.

The best sizing I have found is 17x9.5 with either 3.75 or 4" backspace all the way around
Run a 275/40ZR17 tire
