Steering Question need help ASAP

i was out with my car 69 camaro manual steering
front suspension is rebuilt completely, and as i was parking i heard this popping noise in my car while i was cranking the wheel.
and now the steering wheel just spins, and tires dont move?

is it the coupler or would it be the box and all?

open the hood. Is the rag joint still attached? Did the pitman arm fall off? That's really all it could be.

rag joint is still attached if i spin the steering wheel, the upper shaft spins the lower one going to the box does not

So then the rag joint is not still attached.

Not sounding like it. I'll try to crank all the bolts down and see if that helps

Remove the coupler & inspect.
