      1st gen vent ball bezel

Ok my original ac system was trashed years before I purchased my car. So I basically gutted the rest of it years ago. I don't plan on reinstalling the AC. My current plan is to use just the "vent ball" bezel that I plan to modify so I can mount some stereo tweeters in them. What parts do I need as a minimum to install just the bezels?? Can you use just the bezel and the mounting screws/clips?? Or do you need the part that attaches behind the bezel also. Any help would be appreciated.

You can just install the bezels, no other parts are needed if I remember right.

Thanks. I found my old set of bezels and retainers. I see how the bezel is attached to the dash. Also, what are the original cast/pot metal retainers worth?? The repro are probably ABS plastic. My originals are metal. Decent shape. A little bead blasting, paint and new seals they would be good as new.
