Information about the 1969 Firebird
Autometer electrical guages
Vintage Air A/C with 3 Knob servo control
Interstate Battery holding a 12+ Volt Charge entire time
New Starter and showing 12+ Volts at the battery cable terminal
Ford Mark VIII Electric Fan works off Temp switch
Electric Choke on the Holley Carb
LED Taillights with proper flasher relays
Single wire Altenator
New Horn Relay
MSD 6A and Distributor
No Voltage regulator
I have the electric fan running off a Painless Wiring Relay fuse circuit that comes off the battery for + Voltage.

Problem:

No headlights, No tail lights, No turn signal lights, No Horn
No Click when attempting to start the car with the key
When attempting to start the car the dash Mileage LEDs light and fade out in less then a second.
Interior light (under dash) (convertible) comes on and fades out once attempting to start car. Will not come back on until has sat untouched for a while.
All fuses under dash are ok
All fuses in Engine bay are ok
I have 12+ Volts on the fuses under the dash.

Everything on the car was running perfect for several months and all of a sudden this happened over night. Wife drove the car for 3 days (Wed-Fri) and then I drove it on Saturday Morning. Then Sunday morning nothing this issue happened.

Anyone have any ideas of what to start debugging?
Thanks
Ray

Ugh. Stuff like this is why I'm requiring my car. I hate debugging. I assume you are running the original harness? Start with the grounds.

Well today was interesting; the bird has sat untouched for about 2-3 weeks. I went out to pull the dash to get the Headlight switch out and the headlights and dash were working normally.
I grab the keys and attempt to start the car and I get a click and then the power goes out again (back to the original problem).

And all this time you are getting 12v at the fuses? I'm no electrical guru, but it sounds to me like you've got a groumd issue... A big one.

First thing id do is check the battery terminals make sure they’re clean and tight. Then I would load test the battery make sure it has good voltage when someone is trying to start the vehicle. Your battery may have a internal short that wont show up unless under load
