I'm in the process of wiring up my gauges and dash lights/indicators. I was looking at using either the Molex or Delphi Metri-Pack 150 connectors. I noticed that the Molex ones seem to be a lot cheaper. Since these circuits would be pretty low amperage circuits would the Molex ones be suitable?? Or should I use the Delphi ones??

Put both terminals in your crimper and you'll throw the Molex away. Also, most of the Delphi parts are American made, or at least they were a couple of years ago. Check out www.mouser.com for good prices on the Delphi connectors. I don't know which gauges you are using, but there is a 3 pin series 56 connector that fits some of the Autometer gauges.

I have not used them myself, but have noticed waytek wire sells the metri-packs. They also have a lot of other cool stuff and have pretty quick delivery.

Here is a link to the multi pin automotive connectors including metri-packs.

I use both on a daily basis. If given a choose I would use the Metri Pack connectors all day long. Mouser.com and powerandsignal.com are both good places to get them.

So I assume that the Molex terminals are a PITA to crimp ??? I'll check Mouser and Waytek for prices on the Delphi stuff.

I checked out Waytek and they do have good prices. But, they don't sell the unsealed Metri-Pack 150 connectors. I guess you can use them without the seals. I'd rather not deal with the seals from under dash use.
