      QA1 Coilovers

Ready to pull the trigger on QA1 coilovers for my 69 Camaro. I am trying to decide on a spring rate of 450 or 500lbs. I have a big block with aluminum heads, front end weight 1940lbs without driver. Any advice on selection would greatly appreciated. Thanks

My 2 cents is if you are going to lower your car significantly you should run the 500 lbs springs. This will prevent or minimize wheel rub issues when hitting bumps. I installed 500 lbs springs on my 1967 firebird convertible and it rides perfect.

I think you should consider 550. I have 550 on my AME subframe with an LS1 and the ride is very nice, not harsh.
