What is a good easy way to get the desired rake for my 77 TA? what methods should i use? i have the stock rake right now it looks pretty much level or even appears the front may be slightly higher...i definitly want a more aggressive stance...which ususally looks slightly higher in the rear.

Herb Adams used to sell parts to do exactly what you are asking about. Look for some shorter than stock front subframe bushings. This will lower the nose about 1 to 1.5 inches and maintain full suspension travel. You could also call Mark at SC&C or any of several companies listed ------------------>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

How is the angle on your front lower control arms? If they're angled down much, cutting the front springs down or getting shorter ones would be the 'right' way to fix the car's stance. My brother's 81 Firebird sit's low in the back too, but on his the leaf springs are sagged out, so new leaf springs would be another thing to look at if you feel like the rear of the car is too low, rather than the front being too high.

When I think of a 77 TA and "rake", I think of a mullet mobile with air shocks and 12" M50's!! LOL

I'm assuming that is not the "rake" that you want!! LOL! Marcus is a big help!
