did a search and to my enjoyment, i will be the first with this set up.
adv05.1 forged monoblock in 19x10 and 20x13
just a teaser pic as lots of body mods are happening. think of an 80's street fighter, build in 2011 mixed with a gt-1 race car. will look bitching, or, it will look like crap and the whole thing hits the smelter! haha

Very nice looking hoops in satin black. Can't wait to see both them with tires mocked up under the flaired fenders you are talking about.

Funny, I've been looking at their wheels for a couple of days. Just sent them a note about the ADV5.1 Flowspec wheels (see if they come in the right bolt pattern - fingers crossed). Where did you pick yours up from if you don't mind me asking?
@Rod - there is a nice Vette on the ADV1 site sporting these wheels.

i got them from jordan at adv. the blue Z06 on their site was his car and these are actually the wheels off of that car. got them for a great price. normally these would be $6000+ for just wheels.
being a single forged billet, they are about the lightest wheel you can get. i am toying with the idea of removing all the black pc and just running them raw. they look sick in raw and seeing all the tooling marks so people not in the know will figure out these ain't just run of the mill cast wheels.
what set were you looking at? check with a place called wheel addicts. got a quote from him on a new set and he will blow anyone away on price on the adv's.

Awesome - those wheels look sweet on that Vette.
I like the raw idea, but I think most people not in the know would think something was wrong with the wheels and wouldn't put 2 and 2 together.
I was looking at the same ones you are getting but also the ADV5.1 Flowspec cast wheels. Not as high tech or nice, but a nice look nonetheless. Unfortunately they only seem to come in 20". I have a note into ADV about the bolt pattern. Even if the Flowspec wheels don't work out, I still like ALOT of their other wheels. Depending on my budget when I'm ready to buy, I may go forged.
Do you know what the offsets are on the wheels you got?

the backspacing on the front is 7". rear is 8". using a 1.5" spacer on the front then flaring. that will give me full turning radius. the good part about the rear is now i can just get a truck 9" rear (65.25" wide) for a dime a dozen and use the same 1.5" spacer on the rear. that will have them sitting how i want on the car.

Cool. I'm having a custom rear built to about that same offset / backspacing (3mm difference).

Ever since I saw this new wheel about a year ago on some Porsches, I wanted to see a set on a 1st gen. Thank you for someone finally doing that. Nice choice on satin black as well. Many don't have the balls to do that. What will be your body paint color scheme?

the wheels are really more a flat black. too flat for me and appears to allow it to stain them too due to the pourous nature of non-glossy paints. so i need to strip them anyways. will be going a 70-80% gloss (easiest to maintain) on the wheels. i have an idea for the paint job, abit off the wall, lol. satin black starting at the front spoiler, then traveling all the way over the top of the car and down the back. windows will be tinted, and all window trim will be satin black and glass flushed out.tailights and rear bumper satin also. sides to be either candy green or the new camaro green. then a satin black and silver graphic down the sides about 2-3" thick. only chrome on the outside will be just a camaro emblem on each front fender.
one thing i can't stand though is the transition from gloss to satin and having the paint edge. i am toying with the idea of doing the candy green and seeing what a satin clear over it would look like. then the whole car would be satin. cool idea, but i just don't want to do it and then the car appearing unfinished. all engine bay and underneath will be satin either way. so if i didn't like it, it would just take hitting the car with a few coats of gloss clear and problem solved.
it is only whats in my head right now. gonna wait till exterior is finished and just see the attitude of the car and the direction it is trying to go then make the final descision.

well to say they are just temporarily positioned is an understatement! if you squint your eyes you can kind of get an idea on the direction. should look abit wicked. with some shortening here and there and lots of fill in, it will be one of a kind!!

Advan make some killer wheels.
If I buy a 2011 Mitsubishi EVO X, I'd like to get some Advan's for that. (Different model wheels of course.) Good luck with the build.

Cool wheels. We have been talking to the guys at ADV.1 for the last year. Was not sure how the PT crowd would take to their wheels. Good to see someone thinking outside the box.

Nice wheels. I'm running monobloks myself on a 1st gen. Actually just got them about a month ago. Took a long time to get them cut, but well worth the wait. Maybe I'll post some pics when I get home. I've been having problems with my home pc lately.

ya, i never do what other guys are doing. adv's are what you see on lambo, ferarri, porsche, viper etc. i can appreciate the guys going nostalgic with their builds, but the concave billet monblocks are the latest style in wheels. set of 3 piece still looks sick, but these adv's are fitting the bill as far as the attitude i want the finished car to have.
nothing gets me more than seeing a guy put $100k+ into his car or rod and stick chrome steel wheels worth $120 each on it. wheels make or break a car.
