Hey guys,
I'm recently got a 68 Camaro and have been looking into some rims. I came across the Boss 338 black rims <img+src="http://www.myatltires.com/images/wheels/boss/338B.jpg">. I have a stock ride but am thinking about possibly getting the Hotchkis TVS setup in the not so distant future. My question is should I do 18x8 all around to be safe or can I fit the 18x9.5 in the rear. I don't want to have any issues when I go to lower it.

That web site was the reason I got mine. That site gave me the idea and the info for buying my 338's.

Awesome pics! Thanks for the link. I actually went with a set of 18" Show Wheels Streeters. They look pretty much the same at about the same cost. I'll put picks up when I get em' on.

While the 338 is a good looking wheel, I don't understand why a wheel company doesn't come out with a wheel in a similar price point with a little more modern styling in a nice array of backspacing.

Thanks for that info. I have been stewing over what wheels to buy for my Firebird and I have been waiting around for either money to free up to buy what I really want or to luck up on a deal. I could swing Boss prices. Have you seen pics? Are you going to be selling them?

I emailed Eagle to see if I could get some specs or a possible release date, but if they are a SEMA release, I don't have high hopes that I will get much info until they are released.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for an 18x8 and an 18x10 like the series 225.

Looking at their catalog I have here next to me they only list them in 20x8.5 and 20x10

That will probably be the sad reality. I am sure they were designed for the 5th gen Camaro which would also mean the bolt pattern would be wrong. I will keep my fingers crossed though.

I anm running the black Boss338 on my 67 Bird. fronts are 18X8 and rears are 18X 9.5. Definitely like how the y came out, perfect offset, not sticking out and made teh Bird really stand out.
I am working on my other 68 Bird (paint, body, and a bunch of interiro stuff), and am leaning towards another set of Boss - the Bird will be black, so most likely their gray style.

it is crazy how in Nor cal, vendors were killing each other as far as pricing etc. They are going now for about $800 mounted with tires, etc.

If you type "Boss 338" in the sacramento craigs auto parts section there are a lot of shops selling them.

Are you sure those rears shouldn't come in half an inch (or a full inch)? Seems like you'll be rubbing tires on fenders when you lower the car...
So there aren't any vendors on here that are offering any BOSS wheel deals??
