Can someone please measure the width of your mounted 335's at the widest point? I am in the middle of designing my rear end and need to know this measurement.
Thanks,

Ok I didn't know that. How much of a difference from one brand to another do you think there is?

I'm in Brentwood, it's between Discovery Bay and Antioch. You close?

Nitto's are known to run smaller than most sizewise...

yep, my 335 BFG's are 1/4" wider than the Michelines of the same size on the same rim.

off topic: is this the same Steve that had that White 69 Big Block Nova? He lives in Brentwood and he described his location the same way you do.

Nope different guy. Never had one of those, last car I had was a 67 small block Nova that I sold back in 96.

That white Nova was a customers car that I bought from him and since sold. It now has a home in New Jersey!

I want to build another one but with a slightly bigger budget and more time to build.

I think actual rim can make a differance too, fat lip and the old standard lip may have a differnt dimension from the inside, this would change the the tire side wall dimension slightly, I myself ordered the wheels I wanted with the backspace I wanted, mounted them up on the car and measured from there to see how much to shorten the rear housing from hub to hub to tuck them in where i liked it.
