Is it possible to install, or would an adapter be required? I want to put a 3rd Gen wheel on my '68. I really like the design and size, plus junkyard hunting can be fun.

The bolt pattern (5 on 4.75") never changed on the F-body cars from '67 all the way to 2002.
As long as the backspacing and wheel width will work (do some measuring) you're good to go.

Im not really going to be much help but.. Im planning on putting a 04 GTO wheel and column into my 69. A adapter needs to made at the rag joint.

Good reminder. I should clarify that I don't want to change the column, just the wheel.
