I am looking for some suggestions on seats for my 69 chevelle. I will be autocrossing, drag racing and hopefully some road racing so I want a safe and supportive seat that will accomadate the proper seat belts. However I want to avoid seats that look race car specific. I want them to look like they belong in a chevelle. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thought about ProCar but not sure if they will work with 4 point harnesses.

I'm currently installing seats from a 2005 Tiburon. Very comfortable, driver seat has height and lumbar adjustments too. Quite a bit of bolsters for both your thighs and torso.

Got the pair for a steal, $190 at an auto body shop.

I used C5 Vette seats, I love them. But then again anything is an improvement over a set of those ****ty plastic race buckets.

Check out Arizen seats, a number of people are using them. Available with a variety of covers (incl houndstooth and rear seat covers to match):

What I am planning on going with when I get to the interior.

Whatever seats you buy I highly suggest sitting in them first. What fits one person well may be very uncomfortable for another.

x2... I've got a set as well, worth looking into. I did a 900 mile roadtrip with no aches or pains...

I have the Procar seats. I think they look good in the older cars because they are a little shorter than the newer seats. You can also remove the head rest if you want. They work fine with 4 point harness and with just a little work you can cut the hole for the crotch strap. If you want the seats to sit low, do not buy the frames. If you want frames let me know, I did not use the ones I bought. Randy

I used seats out of a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire in my 1968 Camaro. They are good because they have a short back without the headrest so they dont look big and bulky

Some guys might crucify me, but I'm planning on installing a brand new set of BMW M3 seats in my project. My daily driver is a '08 M3 and the seats are just amazing. I've owned a lot of high end sports cars, and these seats are the best hands down. I actually found them from a guy in Beverly Hills that replaced his seats with BMW performance seats. I got them for a steal, considering the entire set up brand new from BMW was over $12k!!! I'll post some pics later.

those arizen look like the Jegs seats.

The summit seats are cheap and comfy, I have them in my 95stang. It pulls 1g and it hold me and my passenger in the seat. the seats are kinda heavy, but are reclining and less than $200 each. I made my own mounts and they include sliders.

i went to the arizen site. Not exactly the same. But have some similarities.

I am still really happy with my summit seats. About 30K miles on them now, and now foam break down.
