Who makes a good line lock kit? Hurst? Moroso? Any suggestions or experiences with different kits would be welcome. Would be going into a 69 Camaro.

Thanks in advance!

I've had Hurst kits with no problems.

I have run most of the common brands at one time or another....no real difference. but you might want to invest in a brake pressure gage to go with it.

Hurst seems the clear favorite.

I've had great luck with these solinoids:

It comes bare, which is just fine, because I always end up using my own wiring, switch, and indicator lamp.

The Summit brand side by side looks identical to the Hurst.

Hurst... all the way, i knew someone who had a solinoid fail a mile or so from his house, lets just say that the flat spots on his front tire from the ride home made for a bumpy ride...

So when they fail then lock the brakes up?

I have used both the Hurst and the Jegs brand, no problems with either one.

Well since you got that one, now is the time to post a video of you using the thing!!
How did your install go? I bought a LL and did not end up putting it in cause it was a little too over my head.

I won't get the piece until tomorrow. Hopefully later this week or next it should go in. I'll post pics then, still a bit aways from being able to demo the thing (still have a few things + electrical to do).

Here is some pics of the line-lock installed:

Still have some minor adjustment shortening of the brake lines to get them away from the headers a bit.

Bracket is made out of 1/8" thick steel that was polished and then powder coated clear. My first time trying the clear and I guess the heat discolored the clear or the steel a bit, now has a bronze tint to it, but actually looks very interesting.
