So I want to start upgrading the suspension on my 67 Camaro, but before I start, I want to correct a problem on the rear suspension. The car was 6 cylinder with mono leaf rears when I got it 19 years ago. It looked as though the drivers side had a sagging rear spring. so about 6 years ago I put on a fresh set of multi-leafs. Did not change anything. I work @ a paint and body shop, so I got the car up on the frame rack and tried to twist it around a bit. Helped a little. The car still sits lower on the driver side rear. About 3/4" - 1". Anyone else experience this issue, solutions? I would like to get it resolved before upgrading the rear suspension. Also when I had 255s on the rear drivers side would rub, even with rolled 1/4 panels. Never rubbed on passenger side. Any help?

How are the subframe bushings? If the subframe is sitting twisted due to compressed bushings it can cause the back to be out of level.

This is an issue that I am studying as well. my 67 Firebird does the same thing. My buddies 73 T/A does this also. maybe its a subframe issue?
