Just looking for your opinions again...
What would you guys use on a 70's challenger/cuda build
1. staggered 19/20's
or
2. 20's all around???
Thanks
PS--The new shelby/challenger/camaro's will all be available with 20's on all four wheels I'm pretty sure....just food for thought.

I think the 19-20 combo would look good but would like to see a picture first.

Usually I'd vote for the same diameter all the way around, but it the case of 20"s which I'm not personally a huge fan of... I think 20s on the front would look a little too gaudy. So in this instance I'd opt for 19"s and 20"s if thats the only other option.

i like same diameter all around, but i think 20's are too big for a pony car, unless its an exotic. i'd go w/ 18s all around, or 19s at the most.

From the options listed I would rather see 19 front 20 rear. But personally I think 19s or 20s are too big.

I prefer a 2 inch split front to back on most muscle cars, and up to a 3 inch on a street rod...
To me any wheel bigger than a 18 on the front doesn't look right.

i'd do
19's front
20's rear

what kind of car is this for? sometimes it depends, as I think 20's look good on the back of a big car, like a cuda or a charger, but are too big on something smaller like a mustang coupe.

Just my $.02, but I like the 18/19 stagger. I think you should have added a third "Other" option to your poll.

19's and 20's. If you are running a static suspension and are going to make it low enough to look good, you will need the smaller diameter up front to turn.

I didn't vote because I didn't like any of the options :)
I think anything bigger than 18s look goofy on classic rides, even pro-touring style rides. There are better tire choices in 18s, especially when looking at wider tires.

When my car is done, I'll post some pics. You may feel differently...:naughty:
Staggered will look better if you are going with large diameter wheels.

staggered goes good with a staggered suspension. all the same size goes good when your sitting level.

Myself I dig 18/20. That is what I am putting on my 73 Camaro

I agree. I like them no bigger than 17's. But hey, that's just me.:dunno:

I 2nd this combo. It might be more noticeable the fact that they are actuall staggered. A quick glimpse at a 20/19 combo might not look so different. That is, unless thats the look your going for.
I would lean away from the 19 personally, only because 19s have always been a tough size tire to get ahold of and extra expensive for some reason. I agree with the thought of 18/20 even though it was not a choice..

Depends on the build....for me the 2" stagger is way to much especially when a bigger rear wheel lip makes it look even bigger. It is the more economical route agree. How many factory cars do you see with 2" of stagger? None to my knowledge. In the end whatever floats your boat is all that matters.

I have a two inch stager...But there is actually less than an inch overall difference in size....I am running 20x10 rear and 18x8.5 front...
I think it looks pretty good so far...
sorry don't like 20's on a pony car, a guy down the street from me put an 18/20 setup on his 1968 Camaro and the 20's are to tall, you cant lower the butt to look good with out rubbing, personal opinion, 20's look good on trucks and big cars
