Now that Arizona Bike Week is finished and my 14 hour days have stopped I can again focus on this. I just received the final rear suspension piece that I needed. I have had that front 3rd link mock up mount in there for a while and I just couldn't figure out a good way to make it work. So, I finally found a premade piece that I just have to weld up and attach to the frame rail. It came from one of these 4 wheel drive outfits that make fabrication parts. Once that is throughly tacked on I plan to move forward with the rest of the roll cage as well as borrow my buddies LS2 and continue mocking up the front suspension. The LS6 that I had in there is getting some upgrades and will soon sit in our F85..

Okay I finally found a bracket that I can modify and make work for my upper 3rd link mount. I started mocking it up tonight and though it still needs some work I'm actually jazzed about how it has started to turn out.. I may rotate the mount a little counter clockwise but to get my angles right I need it to be at the Z height it is at. At the moment I threw a piece of 2x2 in there and if that is what I need I plan to trim it down and smooth it out to look better.

I'd try to put an insert into the frame tube itself so the bolt can go through the outerbracket and rod end and then thread into the bung in the framerail. That would be very stout. Alternatively I guess you would just gussett the bracket onto the frame rail which is probably what you were going to do anyway. Ideally of course its nice to have some adjustability on both ends of the link but for where you're trying to land it that's probably not very feasible.

I was actually thinking that this would be fairly strong.. I do plan to try and use all 3 holes in this mount but you definitely have me thinking that I need to strengthen it up some more. I like your idea of going through to the frame rail but I agree that doing that and keeping the adjustability is would be pretty difficult.

That upper bracket will be more than strong enough. Those things can put up to some ridiculous amounts of abuse and it is over engineered for your application which is a good thing here. That upper will more than likely only see 2-3000 pounds of force be that in tension (acceleration) or compression (braking). If the geometry is good, burn it into place and move on. The only thing I see that alarms me about those pics is the amount of threads showing on the rod ends. How much is in the tube adapters? Are you planning to cut another longer piece of tube for that link?

Steve, I think I missed that when I was tacking it up there. I need to cut it off to drill the rest of the holes to a larger size so before I put it back on the frame rail I will get out the jam nuts and make sure it is in as far as possible. I'm hoping to get a few minutes of work on it tonight :)

Trying to decide what size tube to run behind the dash.. Only specs I could find were NHRA and they call for at least 1.25 .120 DOM. Is that enough? Just don't think I have enough space to put a 1.75" tube back there..
Also, as you can see the main hoop in this car is set back. That is because of my height and desire not to hit my head on it. It is barely within SCCA spec for distance.. But because it is back so far I'm thinking I would like to put an X below the roof. What are thoughts on that?

Thanks for the compliments guys!
So I'm working on fitting the dash to the down tubes. We had planned on Just Dashes refinishing the dash in the car but I'm wondering how I can tell them where the tubes will be. As you can see i opened up the hole on the drivers side too much and also pieces of the foam are breaking off. Maybe some spray foam just so they know the shape?

Okay guys, if you have been following our build you know that we have been really working to try and use the LS7 manifolds and mid-pipes. Well, I have began mocking up the steering and Houston... we have a problem.
https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2011/04/IMG2011042000043Small-1.jpg
https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2011/04/IMG2011042000045Small-1.jpg
As you can see the steering shaft runs right into the manifold!!! Such a bummer. If you guys have any ideas here that would be awesome! My Dad and I stared at this thing and after consulting with Bart on the phone the answer was to grab a pair of LS swap headers from Stainless works originally meant for a first gen Camaro. This particular set was originally meant for a car with a factory steering box but I think they will work well and provide plenty of room for the steering shaft as well as a motor mount.

As you can see I'm waiting on my bushings to fully mount the rack and I'm pretty sure that I need to lift the front of the engine about 1/2" to clear the rack. That should be easy enough though.
As for motor mounts I'm now thinking of running these kits together. The first one takes it to a standard small block urethane busing and the second one takes it to the frame

https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2011/04/c005in14-1.jpg
That second photo is kinda crapy but here is the link to the Welder Series site with the product.. https://www.welderseries.com/blog/online-store/chevy-motor-mounts-rubber-insulated/
If you guys have seen any other universal mounts for LS motors that you have been happy with or just look like they would be sturdy and well constructed let me know! Thanks!

Worked on a few things tonight.. I stopped and picked up the bushings and tubing to install the rack. Everything looks like it should so that was nice.
https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2011/04/IMG2011042200056-1.jpg
I also decided to change out the lower coil-over mounts on the rear to get it into double shear.. So far it doesn't look that nice but this is the best I could come up with. Any one have any cleaner ideas??
https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2011/04/IMG2011042200058-1.jpg
Scary but the 1/2" bolt that was in there was already bent and we hadn't even put the car on the ground yet.. Crazy.
preston
04-25-2011, 06:56 AM
Its always been a tossup to me whether its better to put those bolts in double shear or keep them close to the bracket (always seems like putting it in double shear significantly increases the distance and therefore the leverage of the lower mount).
I don't know what your bracket looked like before but if they're built right the single shear is a non issue as the shock bearing butts right up against the structure of the bracket and the bolt has a ton of support. I always felt like a 1/2" bolt wasn't strong enough but when you look up the shear strength of a grade 8 1/2" bolt its pretty significant.
PhillipM
04-25-2011, 09:50 PM
Thanks for the insight.. I hear you on the distance between the mounts but I think I would still feel more comfortable if it were in double shear. I don't know. Maybe I'm worrying about it too much. Here is a link to what it looked like before..

Take a look at these. I have em on my truck and they are great. You would just have to cut the edge straight, use a metal lock nut and you may have to trim down the bolt to make sure it clamps rite
http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=210
I also wanted to comment on your exhaust. I know that this is against the norm but if you are having too hard of a time with the steering shaft issue, maybe try using the passenger side manifold or shorty header on the drivers side and run the exhaust tube down and in front of the steering rack. Throw a heat shield in there somewhere too

Asa,
No updates at the moment though I have been doing a lot of staring at the trans crossmember and the exhaust. We are completely rebuilding our 65 Olds at the moment for Power Tour 2012.. Once that is finished I will be jumping back on this car. My next things inline on this car are to get the front suspension finished up and move on to the exhaust, trans crossmember, steering column as well as work on a bunch of sheet metal..
Be sure to lookout for our Olds thread update soon. Alot of things getting done and will have photos to post in the next couple weeks.

rfalker1,
Thanks! Rebuilding our Oldsmobile has been a TON of work as everytime I turn around it seems I'm hand building things.. I promise this car is not stalled out, I have been "blind staring" at a bunch of things these past couple months and I will be psyched when I can jump back on this beast. What is that three cornered thingie in the middle of the steering shaft? What makes that? Is it a bearing/seal for the shaft?
Yup it's a firewall steering shaft bearing. I got it from speedway motors. I need it becuase of how many joints i'm having to use. Max angle on it is 25 degrees. They also make a two bolt version that has a max working angle of 30 degrees. I really need one with a 50 degree angle but couldn't find one. If anyone else has any ideas that would be sweet. Currently I will have to make a kick out on the firewall to get the bearing to a happy angle.

07-02-2012, 02:07 PM
Okay, got some time on the car over the weekend.. Here is what I came up with to solve the clutch master mounting as well as our firewall bearing mounting. The big problem with the bearing as you may recall was that the bearing maxes out at 25 degrees, and we needed closer to 50 degrees. So the solution we came up with was to step out the firewall with a piece of 3" 16g exhaust pipe that way laying around. Then filled it in, trimmed down and monted the bearing after drilling and tapping it. Think it all turned out pretty well. I didn't fully weld in the steering portion yet but I will get it tacked at least for now.

I glad to see you're back on your project! That is some awesome fab work and welds!
BTW, it looks like you may have your steering angles taken care of but just in case it ends up giving you problems with the angles, don't forget about the optional "steer clear" product that I am using on my project. As you can see, they come in all different lengths and it may get the shaft away from the headers and eliminate all of the bad angles...

That front suspension is going to be REALLY nice! I am in the process of rebuilding my design as well to beef up the front spindles/hubs. They should be ready in about a month. Keep up the great work! :twothumbs

Not gonna lie...I watch for your updates religiously. This is my favorite car on the board.
Thanks guys! Sometimes it's hard to stay focused, but comments like that definitely help. I know the updates have been scarce lately but hopefully they'll come more consistently now. This week I did some reworking on our Oldsmobile to get ready for the Return to the Coast.

We've spent some more time on the car as of late.. sorry the updates are coming slowely but that's how it goes sometimes huh.. We got the front downbars tacked in along with the upper and lower coilover mounts. For good measure we threw on a Vette accessory drive to check the fit.

Thanks Preston, I appreciate the kudos. One thing that I've been brainstorming on but haven't come up with yet is a good way to safety wire the upper ball joint bolt. Becuase the bolt turns with the spindle I've been stumped but hoping someone out there has a good idea. Thanks!

Could some sort of castle nut with a cotter pin work?
Edit: Is that the bolt head on top of the uca or is the nut on top? I am having a hard time seeing it.
Thanks,

I think the he's talking about the main UBJ, the bolt threads directly into the UBJ mount which looks to be steel ? You can either weld a tiny bracket onto the UBJ mount or probably better idea drill and thread bolt or screw and attach your safety wire there. Even though its just a another screw that could come undone you can loc tite a small bolt better than a big one. Or you could use a stud there and drill the end for safety wire to keep the nut from coming off. Of course the stud could still in theory back out but that is unusual and you can loc-tite the crap out of the stud more so than a bolt that you might want to take on and off a few times.

01-16-2013, 08:22 PM
I think he was talking about the UBJ too, I just couldn't tell for sure if it was a bolt or a stud. I am going to try Nord-lock locking washers on my car instead of safety wire, it's supposed to be the ultimate locking washer. After everything settles, the bolt or nut does not back off.
http://www.nord-lock.com/products/multifunctional-wedge-locking/
I also seen some testing with the original Nord-lock vs. all the other types of locking washers and adhesives. The Nord-locks seem to work well.
Edit: video link of vibration testing different lock washers - done by Nord-lock:

Thanks for the ideas guys! I definitely want to do some sort of positive lock on there. I had been reading about the nord-locks as well but don't know anyone first hand that has used them in this sort of application. I was thinking about the stud idea as well Preston... I was thinking of doing that and then maybe cross drilling through mount to pin the stud with roll pin or something of the sort. I would probably still put locktite in there as well. Then I could just run a regular castle nut on top.

Okay another small update! #1 I've got a set of Rushforth Whiplash's for the Stude now!! I'm really excited and think these are really going to make the car look great. I've got to get Jason to widen the rears to 12" but for now I get to still look at them on the car. I've finished 95% of the cage too. Just need to add a dash bar. Decided not to X the entire rear becuase I didn't want to be staring at it in the rear view mirror.. So, just did the bottom half with an X. I also keyed off the main hoop back to the rear section of the frame. After I've got the seats I'll do a harness bar as well. Let me know what you guys think.

Paul and I spent Friday night drilling out all the spot welds holding in the factory inner fenders.. We found out the passenger side had some work done to it so it was much tougher to get out than the drivers side. Once we got them out we mounted them on the car and spend Sunday building templates for the new inner fenders. These will bolt in and out and should provide plenty of room for the front wheels and tires. We also decided to throw the hood and doors on the car. The hood springs are torsion bars which is a big departure from anything GM was doing for hood springs during this time. I also lowered the back of the car about another 3/4". The doors and fender need some more time to get them adjusted and we are waiting for a new lower front valance from Studebaker International. Here are some photos..

Started working on the radiator/core support. The way Studebaker mounted the fender and everything is a bit different than GM or Ford did. I currently cut out the original core support and have the fenders clamped to the frame. Once we get the fenders adjusted to the hood and doors I can finalize the core support location. Tonight we also ran out of TIG gas so that put a stop to fabrication for now. Hopefully we'll be able to get some more soon.

Today I continued to work on the front end. I also spent quite a bit of time lining up the doors, fenders, and hood. I'm running Delrin body mounts all around so I cut a pair of mounts for the new core support as well as got the rad/ac condenser/fan shroud mocked up. Really nice to just see more parts going on the car.

07-13-2013, 08:20 PM
Well guys, I've been busy. I had started on the core support without really knowing where or what direction I was headed. How was I going to mount the radiator? How will it be stabilized? Can I keep the over all weight of the unit light yet rigid? To my surprise things kind of fell into place and I'm really happy with the final product. I still need to final weld it as well as I would like to add some more holes to the front of it to allow air to enter the bottom 1.5" of the condenser and radiator. I've had some people ask me what brand of electric fan that I use and it is a Cooling Components. They have many different size shrouds and on this one I only had to trim 1" off each side for it to slide right into the back of the rad.
After having my new driveshaft made I realized that for some reason I ordered my 3rd member from Mark Williams with a 1330 yoke. Damn. I'm sure a 1330 would work for 99% but with some of the plans I have for this car I just didn't want to deal with the thought in the back of my mind so I got it swapped out for a MW1350 yoke. In preparation for getting the drive shaft mocked up I needed to cut out the rest of the floor in the way. I spent about 20 minutes making this new tunnel with the slip roll. I used 18 gauge for this because rolling 16 is way too much like a work out at the gym. I still plan to do any flat areas with 16 gauge to more closely match the original floor thickness.
Here are some pictures from the past few days.

Things are moving along slowly.. I mocked up my NASCAR oil cooler as well as started working on the front fender mounts and notching the rear cross member for the drive shaft. I've been kind of bouncing around on the car so I don't get bored. It all needs to be done anyways right?? I also scored an NOS front lower valance and got that mocked up in the last picture. Man it's a really nice piece.

Thank you everyone for the kind words!
I've gotten a little bit more time to work on the Daytona this past week. I'm at the point of mounting the radiator now that my intercooler is mounted. I want to touch on the intercooler because that is a part of this project that I have yet to talk about with you guys. I've had the twin turbochargers for the car for a very long time but haven't really mentioned it on here. The turbochargers are STS units that will be mounted where the rear seat was once mounted. I know there is a lot of good, bad, and ugly out there about remote mount turbos but I still want to try this out. People had asked me why I cut out so much of the rear floor and I think now that will most likely make more sense.
I had to cut off part of the inlets into the intercooler to get it inside of the core support that I built. That really happened because I swore that there was more room from there to the front bumper by man oh man how space begins to shrink fast when all of the systems start getting put in place. So far I've been able to get it in there but I'm really having to watch closely where things are going and how the systems are going to be interconnected.

Be flattered Phillip, these are a popular Stude in Australia but I can guarantee no-one has or is building one like yours. Like many, I have loved your project from day 1.
The 64 and 65 2 door Stude were almost exclusively Police pursuit cars in Oz.
I have yet to see one here in Oz.

Good thing the states don't have our VT/VR/VP/VN/VS/VK/VX etc. commodores.

Got a chance to work on the Studebaker over the weekend. Like I've said before I have been jumping around a little bit to keep myself from getting too bored. There is so much to do on the car and I've been working on it for so long that I try to keep my brain from getting to bored or worn out. On Friday night I only had an hour or so at the shop so I worked on a lower radiator mounting solution as well as worked on an upper radiator hose. The portion of the hose shown here is our of a 78 VW Rabbit. Hey, what ever works right?

Then, for some blind staring I decided to throw the turbo's up into the back of the car. I think I might lower them down a little bit but this is really just to get an idea of how everything might fit/work. One thing I need to really think about is how to plumb the oil returns down into one container to pump it back to the motor. I would love to gravity feed them back to the oil pan but that's just not possible with where they are going to be located.

I haven't updated in a while but that's because we've been working one exhaust and turbo plumbing. Not very conducive to continuous updates so here is where were at right now. The 2.5" exhaust is plumbed back to the turbos and the 2" is plumbed up to the front cross member and then it transitions to 2.5" before going into the bottom of the intercooler. I've got the oil cooler mocked up into place and I'm ready to do some bead rolling on the pipes where the silicone couplers will be and then I need to do miles of finish welding on everything.

Hi Stephen,
Yes per STS recommendation the charge pipes are 2" aluminum and then step up to 2.5" before the intercooler. I'm going to come out of the intercooler 3" a d up to the intake. I still need to block off the old ports on the intercooler and finish the mounts too.
Thanks for the compliments guys! I need to get the end pipes pulled off so I can bead roll them before I finish weld them. So much going on under there!

So after doing some searching around for commonly used lower hoses in LS conversions I found this gates hose that looked like it might be really close. Well after trimming about an inch off one side it now fits really well. This is Gates hose 20450 which comes off something like a 1985 Jeep CJ7 in case anyone is looking in the future.

I also got a chance to start eye balling the down pipes after the turbine wheels. From my research it's basically best to go as big as possible here. Realistically that's going to be 3" for me. So, I picked up some 2.5 to 3" transitions from Summit and trimmed them way down. Here I've grabbed a left over 3" radius to start seeing what kind of room I've got. This is a medium radius bend and I've got some much tighter and also some that are larger radius so I should be able to get it to work no matter what.

Another thing that I need to start looking at before the down pipes get too far back is my fuel tank situation. I've got the stock tank and it's in good condition but I really don't want to have a sump hanging down. I've also got an extra 69 Camaro Rock Valley tank that looks like if I were to cut about 4" out of each side might fit pretty well. Not sure yet what that would do for the total capacity so I need to do some math there on that idea.
That's it for now, more updates soon!

Yes thanks for following up. The house is finished up and I've been working on our 65 Olds F/85 getting it ready for HRPT which is only 3 weeks away. Fixed a whole bunch of small things on it and some bigger things as well. Look for some updates on the Studebaker around the end of June :usa:.

That's awesome Josh. That was fun when they were doing the Cruise on Main stuff. Then it kind of fizzled out. Hopefully one day the Studebaker will be out of the garage and get a little vitamin D. Haha.

I thought since I got back from HRPT 14 and it's still kind of quiet around the shop I would mess around with this car a little bit. A while ago I sent some rear wheels back to Jason Rushforth to have him widen them from a 9" to a 12" for the back of this car. Well I got them back and they look killer. I also in the mean time picked up a low mileage LQ4 from another friend so I've begun transferring all of my accessories and oil pan over to that engine. Hoping to slide it and the T56 back into the car so I can continue fabrication. Here are some pictures..

Just a small update. I spent that last few times at the shop working on the exhaust. I've fully welded the mid pipes and started welding the tail pipes and building rubber hangers so everything can move around a little bit. I think some of the exhaust tweaked during welding on the passenger side so I need to rework the tail pipe some. That's pretty normal in my experience of welding exhaust. Even if you take your time and jump around a lot your still just trying to minimize warping. Also, not sure anyone saw in the for sale section but I sold the Vintage Air front runner that was on this car. I just stuck out too far for this project so I decided to switch to a Corvette setup. Picked all that up today so going to throw those on and also start looking at some AC mounting. Would love to keep it down low for looks mostly.

I finished up with the tail pipes and even though I do have some more boost pipe work to do I'm kind of tired of working on tubing for the moment. So, I decided to move some attention to the fuel tank and trunk area. We've had this left over 69 Camaro fuel tank for a while. It was originally built by Rock Valley and is fairly well built. I've decided to start with it just because it's something tangible. I plant to cut off the sides and then cap them to fit the frame. Trying to keep it around 16 total gallons. The upper tank mounts are 70 Camaro pieces we bought here on the forum.

I worked on the fuel tank some more last night. First I took measurements for the length of hoses I need for the corner pick-ups from Vaporworx. After that I finalized and finished fabricating the stainless steel straps. I started with some longer A-Body ones and trimmed and recreated the one end but 2" shorter. Once they were in there I noticed that the tank was pulled up about 5/8" closer to the body. So, I did have to rework a little bit of my side templates to create a little bit more space between the frame. Other than that it wasn't too big of a headache. Maybe more of a bullet dodged?
So, I had originally planned to use my plasma cutter to trim out the new panels but man I didn't realize how under powered our plasma was against this 14g 304SS. So, I decided to throw a new blade into the band saw and just trim it out that way knowing that my new bi-metal blade probably wouldn't last long. However, it trimmed right through without an issue. We'll see how long it lasts though. Here is where I left off, with 1 side mocked up.
On a side note I was disappointed to see that Rock Valley doesn't purge or use Solar Flux in their tank fabrication. I'm not sure if Ricks purges their tanks or not.

Okay I know all these photos of the fuel tank getting modified probably aren't the most interesting to look at.. Haha. But Here are some more photos. I've got both side panels mocked into place and fitting really tight. I'm currently still making more pieces but until the corner pick-ups come in from Vaporworx I won't be able to tack anything else together. I've also got the original fuel tray cut out and the new Vaporworx Retroworx tray mocked into place. It BARELY clears the span of the old tray. In fact I might add some material on both sides just to give me more to weld to. Front and back are good. I've also been blind staring at how I want to do my fuel tank vent line. I've really been entertaining venting it out of the top of the fuel filler neck. Unless anyone has see issues with this. I also need to get my carbon canister ordered so I can decided where that will mount. Then I can make sure the vent line is routed correctly. I will probably route it on the exterior of the tank with some stainless steel 1/4" hard line. Maybe weld some bungs to the tank to allow for some adel clamps or something.

Will "Deer-hunter" be ready for the 2015 Pour Tour??
Sorry no. It will be ready for the '16 Tour though hopefully.

You need some dimple died plates to tie that cage to the body :)

I'm really impressed with this build. I wish there wernt so many generic bolt together built that didn't hide these gems. If I knew how to subscribe I would

Thanks for the fine compliments Dan. I do have a dimple die set so that isn't out of the questions. Just trying to decide on how I want the final interior to look.
Subscriptions can be added at the top of the thread under "thread tools"
I've followed your build as well and am jealous that your are driving it. One day I'll drive this beater. I promise!

I also need to rework the neck, so, I've chosen to go with a late model style fill neck with the little stopper door and everything. At least try to keep the fuel from running down the back of the car! Haha.

I know it's old but any updates on this? I'm currently building a much more mild PT style 1960 Lark. Awesome work though so far.

I started a build thread, link in my signature, I just didn't want to muddle up this one with off topic chit chat.

Just got done building a 78 Blazer with my Dad. Have a few other little things I'd like to do but I have been looking at the Studebaker for a while. I think I'd like to lower the STS turbos down and try to get a back seat in this car. I'll be working on it soon though. Thanks for the interest!

Thanks Andrew! Trucks are super hot right now and we figured we should get in on a nice Square Body while they are still affordable. Haha. Never thought I'd say that!

Haven't touched this car in a long time. At the moment we've got quite a few projects on the burner so this one has taken a back seat. However I've got some ideas on what I'd like to change. I think i'd like to get a back seat in this car now... So just stay with me and we'll have updates in the future for sure. - Phillip

Phillip,
Just read through the whole thread and wow, was wondering if you had any updates? Would love to see this on the road.

I'm sorry. I haven't touched it in a long time. I'm really struggling with how "race car" it is. The older I get and the more I realize how I really "use" my cars, i'm afraid I've gone too much towards the race inspired side of things. While I ponder that I think about lowering the turbos down in the back so I can get a rear seat back in the car. I'm thinking of redoing part of the cage so it's not so intrusive back there as well. Or I might sell it as is. Not sure really. I just love using my cars all the time with my wife and family and absolutely never go to the track. We'll see. If anyone has any thoughts feel free to post and let me know what you think!

Well, there's something about this car that spoke to you. I think you should finish in a more road-friendly manner so you can enjoy it for a while before you send it down the road. I'm sure the new owner will appreciate a more versatile ride, too!

TO EVERYONE THAT MAY READ MY THREADS. AS AN AVID USER OF PHOTOBUCKET.COM FOR OVER 15 YEARS ALL OF MY PICTURES AND HOT LINKS HAVE BEEN NUKED. I DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL EVER GET BACK AS I'M NOT WILLING TO PAY $400.00 RANSOM TO DO SO.
Thank you for your time.

I'm in the same boat. I have 2 build threads of pics held hostage. Screw Photobucket, they aren't seeing a dime from me. I will find a new photo hosting site and update each of my posts link by link rather than deal with such a crap company.

Maybe someone will write a program to go out and fix it for you.. We'll see. Feels like Anglefire all over again!

I don't have many photos to share yet, however, I did want to post on here that we are working on this car again. I had to go back and look through the thread myself to remember how for this car has come. As life goes on we have changing tastes and I would say I'm no exception. As we continue moving this car towards the finish line a few things will get changed. We will be redoing some of the roll cage so that I can get a back seat put back in the car as well as I'm currently working on a different turbo setup that will allow that as well. Once I have a bit more work done I will be sharing some more pictures so stay tuned.

Man I kind of teed that up and then didn't deliver! My wife and I had a baby earlier this year so working on anything has been very limited. However, the update is about 85% of the floor is back in the car and we have started fitting the seats as well as we've abandoned the STS rear turbo kit and are putting a single turbo up front. I traded the STS items to a friend for his bigger single. I also converted the car from a 3 link to a 4 link by adding another bar. Meaning we could go back to the 3 if we want to.. I'll try to get some more recent pictures uploaded over the holiday!
