Hi Eric and welcome to the site. Nice Mustang and I especially like the engine combo...any dyno numbers? There seem to be more and more Mustangs here recently.

Thanks Kevin, I have seen your car also. It is sweet!! I have never been a fan of black wheels on cars but wow I think yours is changing my mind. Yours looks really good with that combo.

I have some old dyno numbers but I have changed the Heads over to some Total Engine Airflow CNC ported 205 Trick Flow heads. I have also gone to a custom ground solid roller designed especially for my engine combo just this winter and I still have not even driven it. I also bumped up the compression a little. It used to make 340rwhp N/A and 345rwtq. Nitrous numbers were 431rwhp and 465rwtq. When I ran the nitrous on the dyno it was WAY off. It was so rich it filled the dyno room with black smoke so I knowthere was some tuning there to make more but really it runs incredible just the way it was.

Damn man. You have the same name as I do. Seriously my name is Eric Butler. There are 2 Bob Johnsons on this board as well. Weird.

Welcome.

That is weird!! That is the first time I have ever come across any body with the same name. The internet sure makes the world seem smaller...

Hi Eric,

Awesomely Beautiful 'stang you've got there.

" MSD DIGITAL 6 IGNITION, MALLORY DISTRIBUTOR, TAYLOR WIRES "

I have a plan to do the similar combo on my '65 , MSD + Mallory , as you have done. If possible, could you please do the wiring diagram so I could learn ?

Thanks, buddy.

George,
Thanks for the kind words. I have also checked your project out and it looks like it will be awesome too when you get it done. Make sure to update me when you get further along I would love to see the progress.

Here is exactly how I have mine wired up. Now I will say that I have not really had to great of luck with my MSD Digital 6 plus. I am not sure if it is how I have it mounted but I had a MSD 6AL unit for years and years without any problems. It was also mounted in the same spot as my Digital 6. The customer service is great at MSD so that at least helps but I don't think it should have burned out TWICE already!!! I love the unit but I wish it was more durable.

Nice ride! Welcome. Just because there are two of you, don't act like the two Bob Johnsons!

Welcome, glad to have another Ford guy in here! It seems we are the minority around here. Your car is very nice, I've always wanted a 67-8 coupe myself.

Thanks. Yeah that is how it is when you have Ford. That's ok though because then it makes it that much better when you do see one that is set up right. I checked yours out on your car domain site. Nice brake set up on that!!
