The distance between the mounting holes, & distance from a line between those holes to what would be the centerline of the rotor.
thanks,

What is 1.5" for? If you drew a line between the two holes you measured at 5 1/16" & measured from the centerline of the spindle to this line, what would that measurement be?
Thanks

It would depend on the mounted height of the caliper....And its not mounted. (cause when i drop the caliper over the rotor to mimic it i can't find the real mounting height point)
Sorry.
Maybe later when i feel like going to the garage and clean an old spindle (maybe over the week end)

I'm not sure we are talking about the same dimension. Send me an email & I will send you a pic.

Sooooo,
As i was saying, i need to get the spindle attachment bracket ON the spindle in order to give you an accurate measure. Otherwise, the caliper is just "Floating" on top of the rotor and (can be anywhere- up or down.) i can't measure to the "center" on the rotor precisely. (I can use the center of the rotor to take my measure, its the placement of the caliper that i can't give you right)
I see what you need. I want to mock up my parts anyway to test fit and have an extra set in the garage i want to get to. I'll try and get that done this w-e just for you!

OK. Then it was I who was confused on what you were saying.
Sorry - thanks

I've seen some posts about you being interested in the C6Z brakes to replace yours. If your C5's are mounted on the S-10 spindles, like they would be to factory specs on the C5 spindles, then I wouldnt see any problems.
