What happened?

I finally saved enough money for a set of billet vintiques GM SS wheels at ~$400 a wheel, and now they're $600! I think they're cool because I love the "stock" look, but who's going to pay that much for them
when there are so many other options for so much less money?

My guess would be metal prices. At my old job we sold a lot of wire for access control and CCTV, and in the first 6 months of this year the prices on the wire had gone up on 10 or 12 occasions.

Yea I had a similar experience w/ the billet rallyes. Price's jumped thru the freakin roof, rediculous IMO. Then you still gotta buy center caps, lugs, etc...Might as well go with some Budniks or Intros for what they are now charging for them.....They just won't have the stock look
