      Aero wheel covers

      Anyone know where I can find anything similar to these:

      That first one reminds me of a '79-'81 Turbo Trans Am wheel. Pretty cool, bu I haven't seen any other than the T/A ones, and they are only 15"s. You might be ablt to find some sort of factory take off in the right size and make an aluminum "hat" to give it that look.

      I forgot about those wheels, the ones you speka of are the ones on K.I.T.T., thanks for tip, I will look into that, maybe someone makes them in custom sizes.

      The only things that come to mind are "mud plugs" used by dirt track racers or moon disks but I haven't ever scene either used on anything bigger than a 15" wheel.

      Yes I have considered that option, Mooneyes makes the Bonneville Racing wheel covers in any size but they dont have any holes for brake cooling. Ferrari has just resurrected this type of aero wheel covering for their F1 team and is in hot water over it.

      Irear an article a while back where the guy made those covers out of old computer reel to reel rolls. The old magnetic tape. FRANK
