Someone here posted a thread several months back about a process where a part is submerged in a liquid (water?) and a type of ink film is applied to the surface of the liquid in a particular pattern, then the part is raised up through the film and thereby applying said pattern onto the part. Then the part can be clearcoated for a permanent finish. Does anyone remember this or familiar with this process? I think the person that posted had a gauge panel done in a carbon fiber pattern for an inexpensive amount, and stated that larger parts (like a hood) could be submerged also.
