On the water temp and oil pressure gauges, is it better to go with mechanical or electrical gauges? I guess electrical is easier, but with the mechanical if something looks wrong you no it's not electrical related. What are most of you guiys running?

I personally prefer electric.

Some say that the manual are more accurate, whatever, maybe if you have a full fledge race car than they would be better.

I dont like running the oil pressure line inside the car, if the line breaks or something you got a hella mess on your hands.

Just my opinion,
Gary

I agree here. I had pinhole leak on my Mustang in highschool on the oil pressure guage line. Not only was it messy, but hot oil on you leg does not feel that well either.

The 2 reasons I always hear for mech gauges are accuracy and full sweep. Most elec ones are not full sweep. But some are, I think.,

And oh yeah, cost.
