1. Replaced the coil.
-No spark

2. Coils only getting 6.3 volts
-no spark

3. New Battery
- no spark

4. 3 wire leads, all of them are getting a positive signal
.15, 12, 9 respectively.

5. Tried hooking the leads directly to the battery.
- No spark

6. Checked the coil wire from the coil to distributor, getting 3-4 ohms. One of the leads fell off, but we put it back together, still getting resistance through it via the volt tester.

....Gonna go eat now, PLEASE help :guilty:

Damn, I'm sorry... details right.

68 camaro, points type distributor... Fortunetly I was finally able to get ahold of a friend of mine who after 10 minutes had the thing running, and after another 20 had her running like a champ.

Loose wire in the distributor, we screwed up the firing order, because my friend that was reading the book is apparently illiterate. Basically a whole lot of problems from the 'how does a carb work' generation.

That reminds me of a guy who said he used to keep a magneto with wires still attached on the shelf in his shop. The nosy customers would pick it up and give the shaft a spin with the wires hanging down right in front of their "area". He said it provided much amusement as you can imagine.
