Hey guys, quick question. I have a 1971 Chevelle, mainly stock just a larger front Sway bar and 18x9 wheels with 275/40/18s. I've had this combo on the car for about a year now and have experienced no issues with the over sized tires.

Now the past few times I've had the car out it tends to rub the driver front tire when turning right and hitting small imperfections in the road. Enough where you can hear and feel the tire catch on the fender.

With it being okay the last year or so, where should I begin to look? Ball joints, upper control arm bushings? Just unsure where to start. Thanks everyone!

Did you install any new springs when you did the sway bar? if so, those settle overtime and cause rubbing that you didn't experience when first installed. Other two main places that would come to mind would be ballpoints and wheel bearings. There is also some potential with your tire width and a thicker sway bar that the sway bar mounts could have loosened up a bit and caused the sway bar to shift over where it makes contact with the tire, That would be pretty obvious since your should see scuffing on the sway bar.
