Has anyone used the Fragola PTFE 6000 line to build their own power steering lines? For the -6 line, the advertised working limit is 3000 PSI with a burst limit of 10,000 PSI. They advertise that it can be used in power steering applications but dont specify whether you need to use the crimp fittings in a power steering application or if the standard fittings with the olive that you can assemble in a vice can be used.
Thanks for the help!

I haven't tried the fragola parts but I have tried to make my own power steering lines. I have had them fail.
I have never had had a crimped PTFE hose fail.

I'm using Fragola 6000 with the olive style fittings on the presure side and using the rubber lined -6 for the return side, this is with hydroboost. No issues.

Same here. Used the olive-style fittings on four cars already, also with hydroboost. 23k miles on one of them with no issues, same for all the others. You'll be fine with the olive fittings.

Ok, thanks guys. I've used these lines with the olive fittings in the past for all other manner of plumbing, just wasn't sure about the pressure side of the power steering system. This will make things much simpler. Thanks!
