Can anyone help/ know what all it would take to bolt a 4L70E to a BB chevy? Additionally Im assuming a stand alone would be needed to control it....what would you use?

Depending on how much power you are making, the 4L70e may not last. You will need a big block flex plate that has the right bolt pattern for a 4L70 torque converter. I believe PCS and MSD (probably others) both offer standalone transmission controllers. Concat Bowler, I am sure they can help with the hardware and maybe even the controller.

Thanks Andrew.
Do you already have the 4L70E or just thinking about getting one? If you haven't picked one up yet, I would hold off and either get the early 4L80e or an early 4L60e and have it upgraded to handle the power you're making. The newer LS version 4L70E do not bolt up to the older SB/BB engines correctly due to the differences in crank flange protrusion. Feel free to email me anytime
