What rubber you running??? Or want to

      Hey guys,

my engine install is nearly done,

my Chevelle is a street car but I want
to drag it here n there but not have to
      swap out the rubber.

      Street slick?
      recommendations?
What do u run now and want to Run?
also, I really want a raised white letter
      tire. But I run 18s.
Is there one out there or do I have to
get one of those goofy kits or paints?

      thx.

Like stated above ET drag radials for max grip in a radial. Nitto drag for a more street oriented tire. ET street bias if you are worried about tire shake and braking parts with the ET radial but they kind of suck on the street.

I'll be buying NT05s this Summer. My 555s are just plain old.

i have nitto iv in 325x30x19 on rear. they don't hook up well with 500hp LS3 with 6sp auto in 69 camaro. may try MT E's next since they are street legal. they are a lttle squishy at high speed. i ran them on my Z06 which traps at 133mph and they cause some side to side softness even on a great handling car. almost afraid to try them on the 69.

I'm running Nitto 555 G2's in 255/35/18 and 305/30/20's, on my 70. It's 383 small block will light them up pretty easily, in first gear. Will be going with new, pindrive Kidney Bean wheels later this year, in either a 17 or 18x9 front and either a 17 or 18x11 rear, with 275 and 315 Nittos.

ET Street SS in 305/40-18 should fit and work nicely. That's a 28" tall tire, which is as tall as I would go on a Chevelle. If the 305 is too wide, then there is a 285/40-18 available and it is 27" tall, which also looks good on a Chevelle.
