Can a 4L80E fit in a 1967 Camaro or does a lot of modifications need to be done? Is a 4L80E swap more expensive than a T56 Magnum swap? Any advice would be appreciated as well.

The 4L80e will fit with some slight modifications in MOST cases. Typically you may need to create some relief on the drivers side of the tunnel for cooler fitting access. (big hammer usually does the trick) The T-56 Magnum WILL require you to cut the tunnel for fitment. Depending on what power level you are at with your engine can be a deciding factor in which transmission package will be more cost efficient, but normally the 4L80e can be built and installed for less money than the Magnum, especially if you are starting with a factory automatic car. If you are interested in looking at some options I'll be happy to put some quotes together for you. Just send me an email [email protected] or give me a call 618-943-4856 Thanks!
