PCS Trans Controller for the van?

I have looked through the current threads on trans controllers, just need some more info. Is anyone using a PCS trans controller? I have come up against a hard spot in the van build and, going to a remote shift controller, will solve a number of issues.
Just wanting to know how you like it and how well it works. I will pony up for the paddles also and would like info or comments on those as well.
I have a TH400 all built up with a twist Machine converter and a GV OD unit. Getting rid of the physical shifter will really simplify the engine cover/air cleaner clearance problems I have right now.

Their push-button shifter simply works the arm on the side of the trans. It does not need to interface with a controller. Therefore you can use it with any controller that you want. You should even be able to use it with your 400.

Thanks Steve, yup, I know how they work, I was just asking for real world use experience and if anyone would recommend them. This is a lot of money to spend when I have already spent enough on the TCI shifter. This set up will solve a lot of problems for me IF it works as they say.
Getting rid of the shifter will let me raise the top of the doghouse high enough that I can get an air cleaner on the carb. It also solves the doghouse removal issue (with a shifter bolted to it) and the worries I was having trying to tune the engine with the cover removed and the shifter dis-connected. To many what-ifs with that scenario and I was not comfortable with most of them.
What do you think of their product? Will it work well enough in my situation that I can comfortably get rid of the manual shifter mechanism?

Bringing this back from the dead zone. I'm hoping in the last couple of years someone has had some real world experience with these trans controllers. Anybody?

From our experiences with PCS controllers I wouldn't hesitate to go that route. We primarily use Compushift just because we like their set up a little better, but we've used many PCS kits over the years as well without any issues. They make a great product. If there's any specific questions you have let me know and I'll do my best to help you out.

Thanks for the response Craig! I have emailed PCS and can never seem to get a response from them. THAT makes me wonder about their customer service. If they can't take the time to help a potential customer, I can only speculate what getting help would be like AFTER a sale. This is by no means a small outlay from my BadAst fund and I would feel better about it if I knew they were going to be there if I have issues...

I big THANK YOU too Craig @ Bowler! He helped me out big time with this Trans Controller thing. I ordered the PCS System thru Bowler Friday afternoon with no reservations. It is a lot of money but it will solve so many problems it was the right way to go. I'll post up some pics when I get the stuff.
