Well guys I got a little suprise this afternoon. Santa came in the form of the UPS man. My wheels and tires I ordered from Newstalgia Wheel arrived. I just ordered them a week ago and was told it would be 3-5 weeks. Man that was a quick 3-5. Man I couldn't be happier with my choice(for the price). They are the Billet Specialty Street Stars(17x8 and 17x9.5) with Nitto extreme 555's. Sorry for the poor quality of pictures but the sun was going down fast. All I can say is they are way better than the TTII's I had. (I think)

No thank you Howard. Like I said if anybody is in the market for some new wheels you at least owe it to yourself to call Howard and the crew at Newstagia and be ready to have some outstanding prices and customer service.

Looks great! They look like my Centerline Retros. Now if my tires would just get here!

looks bad ass Scott. How was the fit? Do you think 5" bs front would work? very nice stance.

Scott - can you list the tire specs of your tires? I know you said they're 17's - can you give me the widths and aspect ratios? Thanks

Scott, The wheels and your car look awsome! I think that you helped steer me in the right direction as for a wheel choice and also who to call for the wheels ( Howard at Newstalgia!!) I like the size combination that you have, I'm just not sure if I could fit a 275 on a 9.5 wheel in the back of my 68 Camaro with the factory sheetmetal ( no tubs or rolled lip) without any rubbing?? Maybe go with 18's out back??> what do you guys think?? Jeff
68 Camaro SS350 now 427/ 700R4 resto going to pro touring (alot more fun!!)

Again guys, THANKS for the kind words. It has been amazing what a wheel change can do for the attitude of a car. I think these wheels give the car a more muscle look over the TTII's that were on it. I have been asked by a couple of people about clearance issues on the rear. I was told that there might be some rubbing issues since I still have drums on back for the time being. I went ahead with the 5.5bs knowing I'm going to put disc on in the near future. Well I don't have the above mentioned rubbing and the measurements are 1 inch between inner wheel well and tire and 5/8th on the front lip without rolling it. My only clearance issue is that I am close to the exhaust since I have the original chambered system and the way it routes. But NO RUBBING. Hope this helps some who might be in the same boat as I was on choosing wheel sizes.
